Ireland – a Sea Paddler’s Paradise . . .

There is no place quite like Donegal in Ireland for sea kayaking beside and through the looming rock formations.

You can see from the video just why it’s such a popular area for sea kayaking.

Donegal is in the north west of of Ireland and the coastline has deep recesses which form natural sea loughs (a good Irish word meaning inlets in the sea). The most well known in this area are Lough Foyle and Lough Swilly.

The imposing Slieve League cliffs are Europe’s 6th highest cliffs and the view of them from a kayak is just fantastic.
