A Kayaking Competition like no other!

This was the first ever three-event big waterfall style and progression kayak competition held at the 9 Kings waterfalls of Agua Azul in Chiapas, Mexico.

This event is not about who finishes fastest, it’s about what line you take, pulling tricks off drops and basically showing what you can do in your kayak!

rey-1

Big names in the Pro Kayaking circuit were there – Rafa Ortiz, Dane Jackson and the winner of the event Pat Keller to name a few.

The main area for the competition  was the last 3 main waterfalls which were drops of 30, 60 and 40 feet and the guys created a new experimental scoring system to determine the overall  kayaking champion.
